Poster awards

The NFO-9 international advisory committee and the international Programme committee have selected 3 poster awards, granted by the Swiss Society for Optics and Microscopy (SSOM), the Quantum Photoncs National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR-QP) and OptETH .

1) The SSOM award is granted to A. V. Failla A., T. Zuechner, A. Hartschuh and A.J. Meixner (Germany) for the poster (MoP3) entitled: "A new approach to detect and characterize scattering patterns of single gold nanoparticles using confocal microscopy".

2) The NCCR-QP award is granted to H. Aoki, T. Ube and S. Ito (Japan), for the poster (ThP56) entitled "Conformation of Single Polymer Chain in Ultra-Thin Film Observed by Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscopy".

3) The OptETH award is granted to C. Xie, C. Mu, B. Mangum, J. Cox, and J. Gerton (USA) for the poster (TuP60) entitled "Apertureless NSOM of high density samples: toward nanoscale imaging of biological systems".
